who i am
I’m a conservation photographer/filmmaker, coral restoration practitioner, and science communicator living in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Through visual storytelling, my work helps to clarify the complexities of scientific research and conservation. While I’ve enjoyed working in many different regions, I believe working on local projects in your own backyard has the potential to have the biggest positive impact to communities
photography & Film
As a visual storyteller, I see the world around me through my camera. I’m passionate about using my images to inspire others to dig deeper into conservation, and build connections to nature.
My work has been featured by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, National Parks Service, Reuters, Chinese National Geography Magazine, National Public Radio and many other conservation and science organizations.
environmental science
I’m currently a graduate student at the University of the Virgin Islands on St. Thomas where I’m researching novel techniques in coral restoration.
Prior, I spent over two years working at the Mote Marine Laboratory in the Florida Keys. It was here where I learned much of the skills I’m expanding on today.
While my current scientific research is focused around coral reef ecology, my interests include everything from whales, all the way down to the smallest insects.
