Who I am

I grew up being the type of kid who would sit by a stream for hours giving my best shot at catching frogs and salamanders.

It was no surprise that later in life I would become a biologist.

But, studying animals wasn’t enough for me. I soon realized that when I integrated visual storytelling with science, this would be my life’s work.

As a child, I found my very own Serengeti just a short walk away from home - a drainage outflow that became my go-to wild place. This was where my fascination with the natural world first began.

What i do

These days, Rather than trying to catch animals, I now try to capture them with my camera.

I aim for my images to foster transparency in science while helping conservation efforts reach their greatest potential.

Combining my background in science with the art of photography is an essential component in my efforts to produce images that have a lasting impact.

visual storytelling

As a photographer and filmmaker, I specialize in crafting compelling visual narratives that enable researchers, organizations, and conservation efforts to engage broader audiences in a way that's both accessible and informative.

Whether you’re looking for photos, video, or both, let’s work together to find the best story for your cause.
